How well do the spray asters last in a bridal bouquet?

Asters are quite a long lasting flower, somewhat similar to chrysanthemums. Should be no problem....

In my experience, I would not recommend using asters in a bridal bouquet, they will be one of the first flowers to wilt, especially if it's a summer wedding. Asters like to drink and do not hold a lot of water in the blooms once they are removed out water.
What style BQ are you thinking of designing and what month is the wedding, perhaps I can give you an alternative filler flower suggestion.
