Are Peonies available for Mothers Day? There is no mention of availability on the site.

Peonies are usually available from farms in the mid U.S. at that time of year.  However, they are always highly weather dependant and it is a niche market that does not have strong distribution channels so depending on where you are you might not see them in your area.  The production starts in the South first of course and moves steadily North ending in late June or early July.  I have even heard of Peony production trials in Alaska where apparently they would harvest in August!  Wouldn't that be an nice addition to the August wedding flower choices?  Has anyone else heard about this?
