Your website says the grading standard for spray poms is minimum 280 gram bunches but these days I seem to regularly receive bunches from Colombia that are not even close to this ( often more like 150 grams!). I always feel a bit "ripped off " when they send these to me and makes me want to just buy my poms from Holland where , even though I pay more money at least I get what they say I'll get....

I would suggest talking to your supplier. Chrysanthemum grading is a relatively simple thing done at the farm level and in my experience, dealing with the right farms and setting measurable expectations rarely ends in disappointment

I'm always surprised that the Colombian don't get that people will pay for quality. The Dutch poms are graded by stem weight and yes, they may be expensive, but you know what you are going to get. P.S. We always complain to the suppliers when they ship us undergraded bunches. Maybe if enough people complain and credit, the suppliers will react.

I've had the same issues as North of 45. most of the time i recieve large bunches, but occasionialy we do get short changed. Localy my wholesalers have really steped up their buying practices so that now a days unless i'm going variety specific and ther is no alternative we always get the larger bundles, and even then we do get a warning 2-3 days out so it's not a surprise when they arrive at the shop.
