Please suggest some favorite "Date Night" flowers or bouquets.

Kangaroo Paws?

How about "Esperance" roses?

Prince of Darkness Heliconia perhaps?  …couldn’t resist that one.  I think the true answer here is flowers with fragrance.  Double Stocks, Peonies, Sweet Pea, Lily of the Valley, Lilac, Garden Roses to name a few.  It seems instinctual to press our noses into a bouquet of flowers and inhale.  I am sure your date would be no different and science has studied (at Rutgers) the release of endorphins (feel good hormones) triggered by the sight and smell of flowers.  There is even evidence to suggest this effect lingers for days.  If access to flowers wasn’t so easy this secret would be sold on late night TV for 3 easy payments!

A recent Harvard Medical School study found that a small bouquet of flowers perked people up during their morning routines. They also found that one of the best places for flowers is in the kitchen, which people frequent throughout the day and particularly in the morning. The study also found that flowers tend to help people:

1. Feel more compassionate towards others throughout the day
2. Feel a calming energy at home or work
3. Decrease negative emotions like anxiety and depression
4. Working with fresh flowers is calming to the senses, enhances your mind and stimulates creativity
5. People most frequently place flowers in their kitchens, dining rooms and living rooms, where they spend a lot of time, but placing them in the bedroom is ensures you see them at the best time of day: first thing in the morning! A wonderful way to start each day on a positive note.
6. A vase of cut flowers in the home or office boosts the spirit

So to answer your question, any type of flowers given to someone for date night will be a winner.

Jajajaja!!!!!! Love the Prince of Darkness idea, will show a lot of confidence and is very different from more known flowers. My suggestion will be to find out which flower she likes the most and bring that one.
