Its amazing to me how the North American Valentines Day market has changed and seems to dominated by a very small number  of popular red varieties ( i.e.Freedom, Forever Young ).
Does anyone see this trend happening in other colors?
Best Pinks? Best Whites?

Hi There,
I'm a bride who is trying to choose between a vendela or sahara rose bouquet. My dress has blush/peach undertones, are the sahara roses very dark in person? They look lovely online but I can't find them in a florist's shop without special ordering them.

We have a bride who wants mauve colored roses in her bouquet...more of a pinky mauve than a lavendar mauve.  Any suggestions for us?  We are looking for both standard and spray roses.  Thanks!

I know the Lady Diana rose is a very old variety but does anyone know if it is still being grown? What would you recommend as a good sub?

Spray Roses!

We recently started using the varieties recommended in the South American Spray Rose Sensations article for some of our mass market stores and the difference is incredible! We had almost stopped using Spray's due to a nagging precentage of poor performers at the store level each time we did a promotion. Now, by using only a mix of the varieties highlighted in Sensations article, the results are remarkable. Each time I see them in the stores, every bunch is well hydrated, no bent necks and the colors are sensational. Now I know what a truly fun and long lasting flower Spray Roses can be!
And guess what? Sales are up!

Hot debate in our office today: Rose Nikita - is it yellow? is it peach? is it orange? is it light orange? I say it's peach. Coincidentally perhaps, the flowerfinder also thinks it's peach.
What is light orange, anyway, wouldn't that be the same as peach? hmmmm

I noticed a new photo of a rose called Cabaret on the site but there is already a photo of another rose variety called Cabaret that looks completely different. Which one is the right picture? Are there 2 Cabarets?

I am having a problem with white roses....I recently purchased white roses from the co-op, brought them home cut, put in water, same with the white rose spray......my cooler is out at the moment, but I did process them like I always do, let them drink about two hours, had a bride who was taken her pictures the next day. I made her bouquet which was on Thanksgiving Day that evening......kept them in a room at the temp of 60, but the next day I notice that ALL of the roses as well as the spray roses were turning black at the tips....could someone please tell me what happened what did I do wrong????

Thank you....

I am very new to the floral industry and have a question about roses.  There are so many varieties wow!  I have ordered Sonrise roses for my promotional Mother's Day vase arrangement.  I believe the roses were cut on Sunday and will be shipped to me on Tuesday of which will arrive on Thursday of this week.  It is the first shipment of roses I have ordered.  I am wondering if I will be able to use them in my arrangement for my promotion (May 9 to May 11) as to the vase life.  Thanks!

Merci d'avance.

Cordialement.

Laetitia
