General Comments: Kate is truly beautiful at all stages. The charmingly waved outer petals have soft, silvery highlights. As the flower ages, yellow stamens eventually appear in the center. At times there is a delightful fruity fragrance. Named in honor of the Duchess of Cambridge, in celebration of the Royal Wedding held in 2011.

  • Generally sold at higher prices than most traditional floral industry varieties. Althought recent introductions from South America are much lower priced that traditional west coast garden roses. Plus many are the new varieties that have great vase lives.
